Charlie was being SO embarrassing. I was hosting a club ride on my turf
(rare) and I wanted everything to be perfect. I have the most beautiful
route in all of southwest Michigan, and I had even ridden it the day before
to make sure it would be perfect. It was. And then towards the end of the
ride, Charlie began to squeak. The next day, I went howling to the bike
shop, and they fixed Charlie up. I took him on a club ride that evening.

And then Charlie got REALLY embarrassing.

I was at Mile 12 of a 27 mile route when I heard it. What started out as a
squeak in the pedal because a bird call, became a chorus of birds, became a
full-on siren. The pedal got tight and I could not rotate it. That story is
in the IG post, if you’re dying to know it.

Anyway, OneUp is replacing the pedals for me and they don’t want the old
ones back. One is still perfectly good. The other is not rotating. If you
love the look of these pedals, and you are a mechanic and you long for a
piece of Leah Peterson Whimsy for your Rivendell, you may have this pair of
OneUp pedals for the price of shipping. I will attach a video of them in
the next clip.

It seems a waste to toss them.

First one to my inbox gets the pedals.
Leah
