Thanks for your interest and apologies that you didn't get the announcement for the Sept. 7 ride. However, it does look like Patrick and I are going to try to start ~monthly ABQ rides and you are on my list for that. I think I made this much too complicated before, so the new plan is that Patrick and I will come up with a day, time, and route and we'll send the info out to the group and you guys can decide if it works for you. We'll do the ride regardless. If that sounds good, let me know and expect an email soon about our October ride.

I didn't see the announcement or I'd've shown up. A monthly ride would be good - few excuses to flake in ABQ; the weather is always good. Tyler
Tyler: Yes, we had a nice ride, though with very small participation; Chris can fill in the details if he wishes.
4 people including me and Chris turned up at Bike Inn at 8 am on the 7th, two rode the very short ride and turned back, and Chris and I did a ~40 mile (me) and I think 47 mile ride (Chris) up to Mesa del Sol and return. Very pleasant, wonderful weather, so successful in that regard.
Personally, I’d like to have say monthly or so group rides with like-minded (steel bikes, or at least sensible bikes, slowish) riders.
Has this ride already happened? I see no announcements on this thread, but I just noticed an " Inaugural Albuquerque Rivendell/Steel Bike Ride" that seems to have happened on Sept. 7.
