Great pics and fantastic surroundings, Jon. December is so unpredictable weather-wise in the mid-Atlantic. Trying to get in a ride at a particular place when the conditions are nice is tough. I love the Blue Ridge region, but the travel time limits the brief riding opportunities in your pictures.
I was hooked after a trip to my grandmother's sister's home above Luray, VA. Her husband was the superintendent of the Shenandoah National Park and lived in one of the homes in the headquarters loop area.
