I'm shocked that nobody has suggested what (to me) is the obvious solution to any tire need: Panaracer Gravelking slick. Rolls well, available in a seemingly infinite number of sizes (I have 28, 32, 35, 38, 43 in my stable), relatively inexpensive. Hard to beat, in my book.
