Disc brakes come with good and bad, I have been an advocate, but I
think the dishing of the wheels from the left side opens up greater
inherent weaknesses.  If the canti brakes are not enough, or the flex
in the stays is a bit much you can always throw a booster arch on it.
It is not like you could overbuild the thing any more.

The simple one does seem good in concept, it will be interesting to
see where the price falls for tiwan stuff, makes me regret not
grabbing a quickbean in any color, kept hoping something better than
silver would be next.
