Super! It sounds like things are working out great and you had a wonderful ride. It's encouraging because I'm just coming down with a bit of IT band pain have just started a stretching routine, etc. I've got a century coming up next month and have to register in the next day or two to get the reduced rate. I've been debating it and your report is tipping me towards going for it.
