Mike, Four years ago I bought the strangely shaped Noodle bars for my new-to- me touring bike. And I too bought a 46 to help control the heavier loads. I too was immediately impressed with the comfort. I still don't fully understand it, but just bought two more to go on the Allrounder and Legolas. Its a Rivendell conspiracy I tell you!
