--initiate tongue-in-cheek sequence-- I'm deeply offended by tarptents. They claim that the golden gate bridge main cables are a catenary curve in shape. Hogwash! They were catenaries before the roadbed was attached. The roadbed pulled them into parabolas. What's the matter with those people?!
