The stoker on our tandem has taken a liking to the ibex knickers.
Wool, warm, movable and good looking. Depending on your height/size
they might work for you.

The stoker/SO is 5'8" and wears between a 27->32 depending on the cut
of things but she found the 30" ibex knickers comfortable.

Add to that a nice set of tall socks and she looks great.
