Hey there Will - On the return leg, you are routing through Stinson Beach and then up over Panoramic. That's the main route to and from the coast, and is trafficked and a bit narrow in spots. If you don't mind missing the town of Stinson Beach, I'd start the climb in from the coast on the Bolinas-Fairfax road to the crest, then follow West Ridgecrest on the ridge to Pantoll, which will put you back on your route on the Panoramic descent to Tam Valley. Also, you are routing from Forest Knolls over the ridge to Hwy 1 via Shafter Fire Road. That's a steep, unpaved pitch. Doable, but you'll feel it. That actually puts you on the Bolinas Ridge Fire road (unpaved), which if you continue south, will end at the crest of Bo-Fax (Bolinas-Fairfax) where you continue as above. Feel free to email me directly on specific marin routes. - Jim -- Jim Edgar [email protected] Cyclofiend Bicycle Photo Galleries - http://www.cyclofiend.com Current Classics - Cross Bikes Singlespeed - Working Bikes The Gallery needs your photos!
