Oh sure. The splats will work as "windbreakers" for your sandaled feet. Waxed canvas is windproof. Plus with woolie socks you'll be good to go for a mild winter climate. Not here in Chicago, no way, but in a warmer place it would work. Plus, the splats are cheaper than neoprene booties and twice as functional.
