After spending a good part of Sunday putting on new SKS fenders and racks, finally getting my Atlantis to the point where it was "finished," I hit a big pothole on a dark road near my house and crashed. My helmet worked, I may have re-torn my labrum, and I lost a porteur rack, my brake levers, shifters, and possibly a rack braze- on. The Atlantis fork and frame are in perfect shape.

I had to carry my screwed up bike, had torn clothing, was a bit bloddy, and clearly didn't look like I was in good shape. I passed 4 cars, two people getting out of their cars, and two bicycles. Nobody asked if I needed help. Then when I was right in front of my house a guy on a blue Rambouillet stopped and asked if I was alright. I was generally ok, and thanks for asking.
