The original Riv/Waterford paint was not of top quality. My '95 had
flaking problems. Still, a custom for $950 .... This was a roadie
replacement for and improvement over my (hot rodded!) 1992 XO-1: Grant
took his All Rounder geometry, tweaked it into roadie-worthiness with,
IIRC, shorter and more nimble front center, and built it out of road
753 and lugs. A wee bit too quick compared to the '99 and the '03 with
their much longer stays and shallower head, but still very nice if you
didn't go smaller than 32 mm tires. I don't mind having sold the XO,
but I do wish I'd kept the '95.
