Upon more examination as I finally got the chance to clean up the bike tonight, I think the rust is coming from the Berthoud (composite) fender attachment. Seems odd they wouldn't use stainless.
I am going to do that annual maintenance and Framesaver though anyway. I've never pulled or installed a crank or bottom bracket. About that 23mm TA crank puller. Where does one measure the 23mm? Anyone know which Park crank tool this is? I have a CCP-1 from days of yore. Guess I need a pin spanner too. And a bottom bracket tool of some sort. Adventure! Any advice warmly welcomed!
