There's a LBS in chapel hill, nc called Back Alley Bikes. I took a number of wheels over there that I wasn't going to use for one reason or another, he gave me a reasonable price if I wanted cash and damn-fine price if I wanted store credit. Since I buy a fair amount of supplies, etc from him, I opted for store credit. It's a good shop. His used-parts bins are really great if you're not overly picking on aesthetics but just want something that works a specific way.
