Okay, bias time here - own an early Hillborne and my one 650B experience was not good. So my recommendation? Saluki. A beautiful bike. And as you say, it stays in the "family". Do it. If you feel guilt later, you can get the Hillborne. You probably won't find another Saluki anytime soon.
