David: am not at home now but when next there will try to find it -- it's
been sitting in a small bits drawer for years, never used and photo it. The
attachement bit on the dt has been (shhhhh) ground off and filled in (by a
professional).

Basically it was your standard dt boss with a male thread that fit into a
female boss on the left side of the dt. The right side boss was standard.
I'll bet it was one of the stranger requests handled by Riv, but then again
these frames were built for 26" road wheels.
