Smitty, I'm in a similar situation with Noodles. I'm pretty sure the stem length on my Sam is right for me at 8 cm (down from 10), but I can't figure out if I want to adjust the height up or down.
As it is, the hoods are good but perhaps a bit high. But I wouldn't mind the drops a little higher. I was thinking about Albas, but maybe a more differently shaped drop bar would make more sense.
