Perhaps that's the answer, that and the mini-mag red LED under the chainstay (the rubber block/velcro mount and the sturdy maglite make this viable in what is a position prone to being knocked about. I can always buy a second Radbot and devise another place on the bag to clip it to. Or clip it to the waist-attached reflective triangle that I just got from Riv. So this extended discussion hasn't been all vapor and wasted breath after all.
