and traction - with tubeless, you can run very low pressures without the same risk of pinch flats, which gives superior traction on loose, uneven terrain/dirt. that's why it's so popular with mountain bikers. it's also the reason why cyclocrossers love tubulars. but yeah, for road use, ride quality and flat resistance would be the key benefits.
