I was sitting in my office talking to a co-worker when someone stopped in my doorway and asked "what kind of bike is that", in reference to the Hunqapillar that is my desktop wallpaper. I told him what kind of bike it is and where it came from. He seemed interested so we started talking and I found out he's put 10,000 miles on a Surly LHT that he modified with moustache handlebars! We only had a few minutes to chat before he had to go but I e-mailed him Riv's website address and an offer to let him borrow my copy of "Just Ride". I'm pretty sure he'll find a lot to agree with in Rivendell's philosophy.
