George, my two pairs, one pair on Mavic Open Pro wheels, and one on 
Velocity, have both been easy on and off.  No drama.  I use one tire lever, 
easily zippered around the wheel, to get them off.  Knock wood, I don't 
think you have any reason to be concerned, and yeah, I have also 
experienced very tight tires.
