Yes, exactly my feeling about my 40 year-old Bertin. I can not remember not 
having a good ride on this bike in the ten years I've had it. Even the 
Rivendell that I owned for fourteen years didn't give me the feeling that 
the Bertin gives. I recently acquired a Harry Quinn, probably 70's vintage, 
and it looks like it will turn out like the Bertin.
