For those that don't know on my last summer tour back from Seattle, I
picked up my token todem wood carved Sasquatch from Knot Only A Bear in
Oregon. I called him Robert after his maker.

Let me start from the beginning.. So Sean asked if I wanted to go on a
bike/hike up to Rock City. I stopped by RivHQ to talk to the weekday folks.
Got to talk to Jared and his buddy Benedict about their recent 4 day
adventure down the coast. Saw some cool pictures of Jared doing some sweet
jumps from his trip. Sean comes by and talks about snow on top of Diablo.
Convinces me to ride up with him, Benedict joins us on his new 4 day old
blue Hillborne (already looks well loved.) We get past the Junction and see
no snow so we decided to ride down taking the dirt along the way. Benedict
proves to be a super strong rider, ended up riding up the trail that Sean
and me dubbed the famous Jay turn. Legend goes that only Jay Ritchey was
the only one able to ride the turn and up the loose gravely without putting
the foot down. Well after three tries and a broken front derailler,
Benedict kills it. We take Stage road back and this is where I think I lost
Robert. It was muddy and wet so a couple of hard drops could have dislogded
him out of his zip-tided home. If anyone finds him sent him over to
Rivendell HQ, they know how to get a hold of me.

Pictures proved that Robert is somewhere along this trail.
