I know the Old Ridge Route very well as I lived near there since Elementary School. It's a 70+ mile mostly paved loop all the way up from Castaic, across Pine Canyon rd and then down Lake Hughes rd. And a lot of climbing. We could do an up and back and/or add in some dirt roads that cross the mountains east of the Ridge Route.
