Nice interview of Ritchey. I'll have to set aside time for the video. Ritchey pops up in RRs every now and again-- clearly an influence to GP and the industry. I'm interested to see how Ritchey's prediction of "simplification" plays out. I see more 1-by-X's around, and SS, and fixies. (Maybe b/c I'm in an urban environment? or flatter land area?) Appaloosa/Mystery bike's 1-by-X (or stick-by-X?).
Then again, I checked out the SRAM XX1 Ritchey mentioned, having no idea about these modern groups, and... wow $425 for an 11-speed cassette! (XX1 chain's $58.)
