I just rode 350 miles with a large Shopsack in a large Wald on the rear Nitto rack. Zip-tied in place with some bar tape to eliminate chatter. The combo worked just fine - it's SUPER convenient to get at gear and snacks up there on the back - and the only drawback was that the weight up high (I was carrying 12 pounds, including the sack) seemed to induce more shimy.
