I am close to your size - 5'10" - but with a PBH of 84. I had an orange 56 Sam and I could deal with the tight stand over but the tt was too long for me with a 10cm stem and noodle bars. Ended up getting a 58 Ram which is a better fit for a road bike. At least for me.
The dirt drop stem may help with the reach on the 58. I have ridden a 60 Sam (same geo as the new 58 Sam) at RBW and it is a big bike. I could do it with upright bars but it was not that comfortable. Being on the cusp in Riv expanded frame sizing is always interesting. RBW will probably say go big. But the on-special 56 Sam is pretty tempting. Maybe use a standard stem instead of the dirt drop? At least you would have options to dial in the reach rather than only having 8 or 10cm.
