I just bought one of the "web specials". My PBH is 87.5 and I'm 5'10.5",
the fit is basically good, the top tube is plenty long ( with Alba's s),
the stand over is fine. My issues are that I want the seat further back
than I can get it and if I don't use toe clips I get a lot of toe overlap (
size 9 shoe ). It may be that I am an anomoly with an unusually long femur
but I look OK to me : ). I tried and cannot use a Brooks - it won't go back
far enough, I'm sitting right on the rivets, a Terry Fly is working for now
but only without toe clips. The larger frame would maybe resolve this but I
worry it would make the top tube too long, it seems pretty long now. I may
try one of the setback seatposts from Velo Orange if I miss my toe clips
too much.
Don't get me wrong, I love the way the bike rides and in fact don't think
the larger frame is the answer. If it were a custom frame I would keep
everything the same but spec the seat post a little slacker. Also the color
is really subdued, more greyish than blueish, so not very flashy, but still
a pretty bike that rides great and the double top tube has quickly grown on
me.
