Patrick, I have read enough of your posts that I should remember if you are
a basket fan or not - but I don't. Since you ask broadly how people carry
their laptops I will tell you that after much experimentation I ended up
with a big basket in front and a small saddlesack in back. I can pack all
manner of things in the saddlesack, but the basket is great for my bag,
which depending on the day and the project, will have either a very small
Sony Vaio, a massive Dell, or an iPad, in the padded sleeve. Regardless of
what I am carrying, the bag doesn't bounce, sway, or shift. I roll into my
office, pull of the bungee net and off I go. I haven't found anything
simpler or better, Bob (Indianapolis)
