If I am carrying the laptop up front, it's on my platrack (in the slickersack), and it feels OK, but maybe it would feel sluggish just like her porteur rack set-up. Only yesterday did I realize that the inner sleeve of my Carsick panniers can fit a 13' macbook . It feels much better to me having the macbook's weight lower and in the back.
