Any recommendations on state parks that fit the bill, particularly Southern AZ and SoCal? A trip with me is all about flexibility, which some national parks fail at, requiring online reservations. Depending on all kinds of brain factors we may think were somewhere for a week, but x,y, or z changes that and we need to leave immediately.
