Couple things to add from my experience riding in Vermont: 1. I winterfied my Sam while I lived in Vermont. Wiped it down after I rode. Figured maybe riding in the ice and salt and snow takes a couple of years off the decades long life I expect the Sam could have. Enjoyed the hell out of riding it all winter.
2. I had Schwalbe Winter tires, they were great. 3. When you first start riding studded tires, remember that your shoes aren't studded. lol. I put my foot down on some ice, slipped, and had a painful reminder that my Sam's shoes were good on the ice, but mine were not. 4. Feels great to ride in weather that keeps other people inside. Not sure where I read that :-) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
