My favorite just-cruising-along position on Albas is to rest my open palms on the fronts of the grips, index and middle fingers in front of, ring and pinkie fingers behind the MTB lever mounts. I also brake almost exclusively with my index and middle fingers. So I like bar end levers in theory, but they're just a bit awkward with my riding style.
