Marc, I spent a couple of weeks in Greenville since last fall. Notably there are good bike routes - beautiful country - and quite a few bike commuters there. But I did note drivers on Woodruff can be quite aggressive. Back to suburbs. The most dangerous areas are the shopping zones, because drivers have their minds on their errands.
