Nice video of the Panthers setup, very different to a Tigers.
The purpose of the dual torsion rods on the Panther was to double the length
of the spring, the Tigers springs where basically the width of the hull but
the Panthers springs when combined where twice the width of the hull.
Like I mentioned earlier you try to get the length of the rods as long as
possible but don¹t see much need to copy the Panthers setup unless it gives
you a woody.
The biggest development in Torsion bars since WW2 has been the quality of
the metal used which has increased the energy it can absorb.
