For my batteries, I have a single 1.5A charger that I set to 12V, plug
in both ends (one to mains supply and one to a single battery) and let
it get on with it. A green light comes on to indicate the battery is
charged. At this point I unplug, and then plug in to the next battery.

Note that it takes (supposedly) 6 hours for me to charge 1 battery from
"flat" on this charger. If I did all 4 in parallel, it would take 24 hours.

You could theoretically charge more than one battery, but I've never
found the need to, yet. I'm sure I'll say different when I've been
battling for a couple of hours using my batteries! If you did, then you
need to connect the batteries in parallel with the charger.

Your batteries should say on them somewhere the max charge current, I
would stick to something slightly below that. For my 7.5Ah batteries,
it's 2.25A, so I'm way below that (1.5A), but it works, so I'm happy.
