The reason I use 4 kiddie car motors, 1 per wheel, is not for torque
but for traction. But I admit, at my current vehicle weight and with
the big wheels, my 4 wheel drive may not be necessary even for
traction. In my previous design, which used different motors and
wheels, I definitely needed 4 wheel drive for traction, even though 4
motors was way overkill for torque.
