I remember way back in the day that the RP Schere company used to make a winter
weight paintball called "Ice" something.  It had a thicker shell to stand up to
cold temps without breaking in the barrel.  I wonder if they still make it?

Of course, the stuff bounced off players that wore lots of thick clothing for
warmth.  Heh.

The coldest day I ever played paintball in was around low 40s.  By then
though, my marker was highly modified to work on a mere 350 psi of pressure and
very rarely (never) broke normal paint in the barrel.  I had to worry more
about freezing the CO2 tank solid while shooting.  :)

Neil,

We put on a demonstration for a local airclub in March one year.
I actually was doing a live fire demo when the paint just would not
fly. I think that the first 2 shots went out, but the next broke in
the barrel..  The goo was so thick that the  follwing shots broke
behind the first. The temp that day was a balmy 45 degrees F. Since
then we've never attempted an event under 60 degress F.
