Cool. I, too, quite like the Tiger II, which is why I'm building one (See Sancho Panzer under the Files section). I have a few suggestions.
1) There's an EXCELLENT paper model of the Tiger II with Henschel turret made by Modelik and sold here: http://www.papermodelstore.com/product_info.php?products_id=2411 This is a very well-done, decently large, high-quality product that is so detailed I would NEVER consider trying to assemble it (3D paper tracks articulated with tiny rolled-paper hinges...). That said, it is a VERY good reference for dimensions, angles, etc., as it is already dissected into flat sections, and is an absolute bargain at $10.99 (reduced from $15.99, so might be going out of print soon...) 2) FOA sells good-looking 1:6 plastic track and sprockets suitable for the Tiger II, if you're willing and able to shell out hundreds of dollars for them. (Me neither.) 3) George Bradford sells excellent scale drawings, a one-page 1:48 of the Tiger II with Henschel turret is about $15 or so (IIRC) at http://www.geocities.com/firefly1002000/1-48dwgs.html 4) I recommend casting some of the details like the engine vents, they're a bear to make by cutting holes in ply...
