I wonder  about the soft aluminum wearing on the moving parts. I guess time
will  tell. Please keep us up to date on the tracks. Again, I think it's a

30 lbs? where did i miss that at?
 
as for wear, if the links don't hold up (due to wear) how about going to a  
slightly larger size drill so you can insert a piece of brass rod into all of  
the parts (to be used like a bushing) and a smidgen of oil
