I'm also fourteen but i have opted to build a quadbike. I guess you
could buy a small kids toy remote control tank and salvage that for
speed controllers. In the uk you used to be able to get one for £40
including left/right tracks, turret elevate and rotate and a led on
the end of the barrel.
