Hello all, Has anyone ever used anything like 1/2 "V" belt for their guide teeth in their track. I have 32 wheels made up out of 9 mm plywood. I was thinking that there may be less wear on the plywood wheels if this method was used. Speaking of wheels, I really don't know if I should use the plywood wheels I have or buy some of the wheels like Joe has on his Hetzer? 32 wheels that are done vs. $3.00 per wheel like Joe's??? Bob "I got to get this tank done for this season" Amend member PUFF oh, i understand now (i think), you plan to cut the V belt into short sections to be attached to the track links - interesting concept. you might want to consider something like either ruber bands around the edges of the wheels (to help prevent wear or small stones or sand sized stuff)getting stuck into the surface of them and marker them black (Sharpe marker) or maybe even black rubber bumper paint (that's a bit flexible) - just a thought Chris, _Odyssey Slipways_ (http://hometown.aol.com/odysseyslipways/index.html) **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above.
