Hi everyone for a long time now I have watched and seen so many brilliant ideas come to light and I have logged and watched and adapted to making the perfect tank. ( One of the idea's being a hover mode with inflatable shirt and duel fans with directional fan units on the turret for steering), ( I was also looking at adapting PIR sensors to front,back, and sides to allow a kind of hit scoring system to be shown by either smoke or light indication)
One thing came to light you all struggle to get to a place and battle, The paintball idea is great but as a paintballer myself I totally understand the issues with firing paint in a public place. Land may be available soon for large scale tanks to battle it out for your tanks but its in Peterborough. For free of course. But I have another option that is I have been running a Tamiya tank battle with a serious of tanks Fleets, (information can be found here at www.maddivision.co.uk). I am offering the use for free and as your all experianced it would be for free because you would take care of the equipment and it would be a day out, all I ask in return is the media attention for us all. We could bring down the larger tanks to show off and then have a mock 1/16th Pershing/Panther battle for the laugh and of course with the battle systems on should make for good scoring. Let me know your thoughts and a venue that is suitable for everyone. I hold 10 frequencies and all the kit. But a group of us with a suitable area with permission could build a quick battlefield with sand and hills etc. Thanks.
