Due to the excessive cost of attachment chain in Australia ($16 per foot for #50 A1) I have been looking for other alternatives, and found www.mccchain.com.tw
I am about to order ANSI #50 chain with A1 attachments on every second pitch, for USD $2.42 per foot. Depending on where you are in the world this is a very real option, even after I pay high shipping costs (the shipping costs more than the chain) it is still cheaper than buying it locally. This won't be much use for the US people as you can already get it relatively cheap (compared to what we have available here in Oz) but for other countries you might like to investigate the shipping cost.
