I usually spray car engine oil on the tracks before battle. It is not thick and the dirt does not stick on it. BY the end of teh battle the dust has gone. The hinges go extra smooth and sweet slippery, you can tell from teh sound. The main reason I am doing this to avoid rust and friction from dirt INSIDE the hinges' pivots.
