Ok I counted the gears.

Small Gear = 9 teeth
large gear = 88


The shaft diameter is  .42 wide (15.7 mm?)
and  .50 long

Other than the fact that you already have gears and chain what would be the 
problem with using the 8 mm 05T Chain its set up for?
