Friction-drive tracks in "wet" is problematic.  No amount of tension 
will overcome the problem completely, which is why we don't battle in 
snow and ice :-)

BTW: Snow and ice cause problems for all types of tracks, including the 
2060 chain tracks, because it packs into the worst places and keeps 
packing in until something fails.  For more information, see any history 
books talking about Stalingrad!!!
