Steve, The SSR option looks quite interesting. How would this be coupled with the hacked servo? I've only seen schematics for H-bridges, how do they interconnect?
I may in fact go with the commercial H-bridge. At best I would save $20 building a MOSFET H-bridge, even less building one using SSRs.
