Though Frank takes much pleasure in extolling the virtues of his tank hauler and claims a design lineage from past Pitelli designs, it is in fact a cheap knock-off of the original Tyng Tank Hauler (TTH). If one were to review the following archival material from 2007 one will clearly see this for themselves. http://www.rctankcombat.com/archive/2007-09/msg00141.html All claimed virtues of the Pitelli hauler were in fact pioneered with the TTH and unlike Frank's steel version, a very functional TTH can be assembled from some scrap plywood, a 2x4, and some lawnmower wheels. One feature that Frank did not (our could not) steal/copy in his version was the self centering action provided by the angled leading edges of the support board (hence the "ironing board" nickname). This feature allows an automatic centering of the hauler to the tank when the tank is backed onto it.
